AN INTRO TO ME

Welcome To Wander Now Travel!

Hi there! I’m Stacie—midlife adventurer, road trip lover, and your go-to guide for uncovering hidden gems, planning scenic getaways, and making travel easier and more joyful after 50.

I grew up camping under the stars, river rafting, and waking up to bacon on a camp stove—memories that sparked a lifelong love for exploration. Today, I still chase those magical moments (with a few more creature comforts), whether it’s hiking to waterfalls, picking tulips, or uncovering the best foodie spots or comfy outfits and charming farm stays.

After years in a demanding corporate role (and way too many unused vacation days), I decided it was time to stop waiting and start wandering. Now, I share smart, stress-free travel tips and curated itineraries designed to help midlife and multigenerational travelers explore with ease—from scenic road trips to unforgettable weekend escapes.

My travel crew? It’s a mix! Sometimes it’s just me and my husband on a couple’s escape, but often, you’ll find me exploring with my grown kids in tow. These days, I treasure travel experiences over things—give me a weekend getaway with my kids over birthday or Christmas gifts any day. Shared memories mean so much more.

Whether you’re looking for hidden gems across the U.S., ideas for agritourism adventures and farm stays, curated road trip routes, or easy-to-follow travel itineraries—this space is for you.

Wander Smart, Wander Far and Wander Now!

Warmly,
Stacie

Where I’ve Been:

WHY I BLOG

The “Why” Behind The Blog

I started Wander Now Travel to create a space for travelers over 50 who want more than generic advice. There aren’t many midlife travel blogs out there, and I wanted to give the 50+ community a voice—a place to find trusted travel tips, destination ideas, and inspiration tailored to our stage of life.

As a midlife adventurer who sometimes travels with just my daughter or my husband or even solo, but often with my extended family, I understand how challenging it can be to plan meaningful, stress-free trips that work for all ages. That’s why I focus on multigenerational travel—sharing real-world advice, smart travel hacks, and easy-to-follow itineraries designed to help you explore the world with more confidence, connection, and joy.
